Adelaide has been going through a bit of a temperamental transition from a cold and dreary winter to a blissful and sunshine-filled summer. However, it's never too early to start revolutionizing what resides in our wardrobe with more summer-appropriate clothing and accessories.
Bohemian style clothes have never run out of style. What's not to love about the trend - the patterns are so soothing and calming to the soul, the clothes with the patterns are ever flowing, comfortable, and figure-loving, and the colours generally bring about positive and happy vibes!

Swimwear with a Bohemian twist
Adelaide-born Kate Campbell could not have picked a better time to return back home after spending 5 years in Sydney. She has successfully shaped her fashion career by working at well-loved labels such as Sass & Bide, Fleur Wood, and also most recently participated in the Sydney Fashion Festival. She has now taken the next step by opening up her very own Boutique in the heart of the southern suburb of Hyde Park - Coltish.

Coltish Boutique specializes in providing its customers with a diverse range of Bohemian-themed clothing from local and Australian brands such as Sarah Jane Knapp, Isabelle Quinn, Isidora the label, Vama Style and Grace Bijoux Jewellery. Cult-classic brands such as The Cassette Society, Somedays Lovin' and Mink Pink will also be available for purchase, in addition to Kate's own swimwear brand.

Beautiful clothing from Australian brands
The decor of the Boutique is inviting, with a colour palette-style arrangement that offers a certain range of clothing in a specific colour or three. There are similar patterns available in several forms - playsuits, tops, blouses, jumpsuits, skirts, and even swimwear - at highly affordable prices (±$50 - ±400). While some prices may seem hefty, it is worth it, given the quality and support you'd be giving to Australian-based fashion designers.

Simplicity through colour coding
Upon attending the launch of Coltish last week, all invitees were treated to yummy nibbles and delicious juices, courtesy of Nutrition Republic, which is situated down the road. We were also offered a generous 10% discount off all purchases made on the night. With the space that was full of media individuals, it didn't take long for Kate's shelves to be emptied and sell some of her exclusive pieces in under 2 hours.

Fashion senses from different inspirations
Special thanks to Girl About Town for hosting this event and inviting us to celebrate the launch of Kate's newest store - Coltish.
