There's a lot to be said about the Somerset Lifestyle. Join in and find out at the Colours of Somerset Arts and Culture Festival on Saturday 16 March 2019 from 10am to 3pm at Fernvale Community Hall, Colin Powell Park, Banks Creek Road, Fernvale. REGISTER for numbers at this FREE event.

It's a day of celebration and participation and five hours of entertainment. Local and invited 'out of towners' will have something for everyone on offer at the markets with 50 plus strong stallholders showcasing hand made and organic products in the mix, including their First Nations precinct. Catch some live entertainment with Jamm'n in Esk singers, belly dancers, and Kurdish dancing or just enjoy the living history displays. Plus there are hourly raffles and you just might win a $50 meat tray.

Buy fresh local produce and crafts and learn about alternative healing practices. Food and wine options also cater for allergies and vegans. Browse the eclectic market, cheer on your favourite Medieval Knight at the Medieval Battle or hang out with a Viking. It's a fun-filled day for the whole family so sit back, relax with a henna tattoo and enjoy the entertainment. Kids have the 3 Ponies Petting Farm and Let's Face It face painting to keep them happy, and perhaps a little indulging with ice cream from the iconic Mr Whippy.

Please note there are no ATMs on site. Instead, there's free entertainment, a talent quest, and much much more. For further enquiries, call Idell Wadley or email as per details in the poster above. Also, check the discussion section of the event page on Facebook to follow the conversation and for more information about vendors.
