Event:
The Colour Run is on again on 22 May 2016. I am so excited to be able to do this run again.

I find this run a funny one because most people aren't there to run, they are there to enjoy the colour by walking. To be honest, I walked the whole way last time. I tried to stay close to little kids as they always seemed to attract more colour.

This year I am going to try and run it. Why? Because it seems like it will be more fun and then I can enjoy the after party.

The Colour Run is not exactly a charity event. Yes, you can raise money for a charity and this year they are Starlight Children's Foundation Australia, Cure Brain Cancer Foundation and Cancer Council. This event is more about fun and promoting exercise.

What happens you ask? Well, you line up in a shoot (a massive area for all the runners) at 7:50am. They take you through a little warm, pump out the music and get you blood pumping. Then at 8am they open the shoot and I believe they let you go in little groups. Once you are out of the shoot, you follow the well set out course and come across colour stations where volunteers dose a whole heap of colour on you (it can be in the form of liquid or powder).

By the time you get to the finish line, the after party has started where there is a DJ and whole lot more colour thrown around.

Entry is $67.50 for an adult.

This has got to be one of the best runs I have participated in and you just have to try it once.
