My early career was in teaching, writing, producing and directing for theatre, comedy and impro shows. Now I'm a professional creative person. Mostly high-end branding, strategy, writing, editing and digital content creation.
December can be a very stressful time of year for people. Thankfully the Logan Hyperdome Library is giving grown ups a fun way to unwind on December fifth. You're invited to a free session called Colour me Happy! during which you'll be encouraged to unwind, embrace your inner child, and tuck into some colouring in.
Adult colouring in has really taken off in the last couple of years as a way to relieve stress and embrace creativity. Colouring can help you take time to think, or to not think at all, as some people find when they concentrate on the colouring they almost enter a meditative state.
Colour me Happy! is free to attend but you do need to book. You can bring your own pens, pencils and books or use the ones supplied by the library.
Logan Hyperdome Library's rep says, "Adult colouring is engaging, calming and proven to reduce stress. Join in for a fun and relaxing colouring session."
