A fun run for everyone
Start the race wearing white and finish looking like you ran through a rainbow.
The Color Run is a 5 kilometre fun run like no other that proudly endorses being active and enjoying life. It's not about who can run to the finish line the fastest, in fact, you don't even need to run. You can jog, walk, hop, skip, or even dance your way through the course if you want to.

The event is for people of all ages, fitness levels, shapes and sizes. Last year, The Color Run took place in more than 50 cities with over 600,000 participants, and about 60% of them had never run 5K in their life before.
After a successful run in 2012, the 'happiest 5K on the planet' is returning to Flemington Racecourse on Sunday, November 24.
Be there at the start line at 9:30am wearing your pristine white Color Run t-shirt and prepare to be dusted in coloured powder as you run through the yellow, blue, orange and pink 'color zones' located at each kilometre.

We call it the 'happiest 5K on the planet' because our events bring together friends and family in a unique, healthy and fun environment." said The Color Run Founder and CEO Travis Snyder.
The fun continues after you cross the finish line at the 'finish festival'—a family friendly after party with musical entertainment and even more explosions of colour—where you can enjoy fun activities presented by sponsors, purchase event merchandise and grab a bite to eat.

There will also be cleaning stations where runners can clean themselves up before leaving, so you don't have to worry about staining your car seats or getting weird looks in public.
The Color Run is a for-profit event which, in the spirit of giving back, supports a number of charitable organisations. The Australian Color Run tour, sponsored by Swisse, has partnered with Swisse's Celebrate Life Foundation as its national philanthropic partner, as well as an official local charity partner in each city it visits. In Melbourne, Color Runners can help raise funds for Vision Australia via the Everyday Hero platform at Everyday Hero Australia.
