This October, Collusion Music proudly presents Transient Beauty, a chamber ballet by choreographer Gareth Belling and composer Susan Hawkins.
Playing at the Queensland Conservatorium Theatre for one night only, Saturday 11th October from 7pm, Transient Beauty sees four dancers and four musicians tell the beautiful and inspiring tale of a woman's search to rebuild her family.
From the opening sequence, audiences will be enthralled by Belling's muscular and fluid choreograph, which creates a striking image of mankind's desperate yearning for connection and belonging. Susan Hawkins original compositions will be performed alongside existing pieces by Carl Vine, Nigel Sabin and Thomas Green to create a tensely elegant soundscape for this evocative chamber ballet.
Collusion Music will be joined on stage by dancers Rosetta Cook, Melissa Tattam, Asher Bowen-Saunders and Gareth Belling.
Tickets for this unique fusion of dance and music are now on sale and priced between $32 and $42.
