A moo moo there
This farm has got to be best one of them all. I went here with my family and we all had a great time.

There are lots of animals to see and be close with at this farm, such as cows, donkeys, horses, pigs, goats, sheep, geese, peacocks, ducks, chickens, cats, guinea pigs, bees and earthworms.

All of the animals are so friendly, including the beautiful horses they have at the farm, all seven of them. They are very quiet and are used for school holiday programs and for pony rides.

The first Sunday of every month, except January & December, is "Family Day". Family day events includes pony rides for kids, tractor rides, guinea pig cuddles, and an affordable BBQ lunch that starts at 11:30 until sold out. You can also help milk cows from 10am till 4pm. All events are great and suitable for children, they'll have a great time. Unfortunately we did not go on Family Day, but all of the activities sound fun and I know my brother and sister would have loved it.

They also have a school holiday program which my cousins have enrolled in. The kids (aged from 10 to 16) are able to help feed animals, saddle up and ride the horses and work on the farm.

The Collingwood Farm caters for children's birthdays and is a very popular place for parties. They serve the best food for the parties as well.

The animals are so amazing and really well looked after, the farm lets the people engage with the animals and makes it really fun. My sister got to milk a cow last time we went, she loved it.

The Farmers' Cafe serves the healthiest and best food; it's not just a dingy little cafe that serves hot chips and nuggets. There's a full menu with delicious food and made all fresh.

The second Saturday of every month is a Farmers' Market from 8am to 1pm. The market is plastic bag free so you have to bring your own trolley, basket or bag. Entry fee is $2 for adults and free for children, and you can stay as long as you want. After 1pm normal farm admission fees apply. Parking is two dollars all day.
It can get quite busy at the market so make sure you get there early.

Collingwood Children's Farm is an amazing farm and I think all parents should take their children there these school holidays. You won't regret it.
