A day of pumpkin celebration, 40 minutes north of the CBD
The Collector Village Pumpkin Festival will be held on Sunday, May 7th at the small village of Collector, 40 minutes north of Canberra. The festival first began in 2003 and after great success, it has been an annual Autumn event ever since. There will be over 100 stall holders and a variety of pumpkin-themed activities and competitions. As well as plenty of things to see and do, there will be FREE Cobb & Co Coach Rides, Base Zero Rock Climbing Wall, Hay Bale Maze, Pumpkin Treasure Hunt, Pony Rides and Pumpkin Wheelbarrow Races. Walk around and admire the Giant Pumpkin competition entries and enjoy the flavours of pumpkin soup, pumpkin scones, pumpkin pie and pumpkin quiche.
