Check out these designer markets and buy for Mother's Day
Melbourne is having quite a lot of markets on now that the really hot weather is almost gone. You have a huge choice and can pick and choose which markets you will go to.
The Collective Hustle is an indoor Melbourne market that will showcase local makers, artists and designers. It will be held at the Coburg Town Hall, 90 Bell Street, Coburg on Sunday 28th April 2019 from 10.00 am till 3.00 pm.
Here you will discover new and established sellers featuring the following goods:
There will also be a local coffee van as well as food and delicious treats. The children will have activities to keep them amused while adults browse through the stalls. There will also be a children's area which has indoor seating
Mother's Day this year will be on 12th May, so this market will be ideal to get something for that special mum. The design market is sure to have plenty of choice for your mum on her day.
Some of the people who will be selling at this event include:
Yano Design have a range of laser cut bamboo home decor and handmade concrete plant pots. They also have custom laser cutting services.
Kumo is an independent women's clothing label started by Jen Deery in 2015. Jen's collections feature comfortable silhouettes with a minimalist aesthetic. She only makes small runs and they are designed and made in Melbourne with an emphasis on sustainability and minimising waste.
Entry to the market will be $2 and children will be free. There is also free parking available along Urquhart Street (behind the town hall).
The Collective Hustle is the brainchild of three mothers who met through their children's kindergarten. They bonded over a passion for family, fun and good quality local affordable goods.
The name The Collective Hustle virtually sums up their lives and also aspires to the type of market they want to run. Their focus is on having local creativity, individuality and diversity with a little side hustle.
Don't miss these markets as they are well worth attending! Check out more about this event at their Facebook page.
