Come see this unique photography exhibition with four of Sydney's top photographers as they showcase the love of their art.

Each photographer has a unique perspective on life and humanity. The images are contemporary and thrilling and sure to stay in your mind long after you leave.

Having met Dusk Devi and seen her burlesque photography numerous times, I was always struck by her dynamic images, and the raw beauty behind them. When I learned she was putting on a collaborative photography exhibition my interest was piqued.

Dusk Devi Vision
"I photograph by feel & I feel energy. I'm totally a Jedi"

Collection name: 'Elevation'

Dusk Devi has this to say about her stunning photography, "I photograph by feel and I feel energy. I photograph people how I see them... As beautiful, dynamic, strong, sensual, elegant beings of kinetic energy with a hint of raw and a touch of divine."
"This collection is truly a depiction of how I intrinsically feel. My faith in the divinity of humanity. A constant state of elevation.

All my photoshoots, something is flying... people, garments, hair, birds, time... it is my 'signature' and a photographer's signature is a look in to their soul.

Clearly my psyche likes to soar."

Phyllis Photography

Collection name: 'The Gender Status'

Phyllis Wong is a commercial photographer based in Sydney and Hong Kong.

Her work in commercial photography specializes in fashion, performing arts, architecture and portraiture.

In Phyllis's exhibition portfolio, she explores her fascination with fashion, design, gender and representation.

Her philosophy is to examine the concurrent concealment and exposure of clothing design in order to dissect the body and its relationship with people's perspectives on power relations in society.

This is her interpretation of gender, environment, and traditions.

Brigitte Grant Photography

Collection name is: "Belle La Vie"

Born in the pacific islands, Brigitte lived where colour is dominant in everything, but it's only in her late teen when she decided to settle in Australia that doors opened to unlimited creativity.

She then learned darkroom techniques at college (when digital imaging was not even the trend yet) and discovered a love for B&W portraiture photography. Her passion grew even more.

Brigitte loves to capture that moment she sees or to create a mood because… photography is her way to be creative, to bring out beauty in everything and everyone.
Her exhibition images are a reflection of how she sees life…
"My photography is colourful, black and white, sharp and sometimes blurry… just like life can be!"

No Photos [Mitch Cox ]

Collection name: 'Under the Bridge'
"I'm not really a photographer. I just enjoy taking photos and the adventure which leads up to them.

Exploring is my primary goal, and photography for me is a natural second.

I think it's because I want a tangible reminder of my adventures… this pushes me to get the exact moment of the emotion I'm feeling at the time.

My exhibition work, UNDER THE BRIDGE is a visual interpretation of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers song 'Under the Bridge'.

Why? Well… it's an awesome song."

The launch for this fabulous photography exhibition is this Friday 11th October at 7:00pm at M2 Gallery in Surry Hills. Th exhibition runs until 16th of October.

Let's support local talent and go see these original artists and the world through their lens for an evening. Your mind will only be expanded if you do.
