For the aspiring art collectors, here is an event you would not want to miss.
Wonder where should you start? What should you be collecting? What to acquire? When is the right time to buy?
The art market is one of the least regulated major commercial exchanges in the world. Art investment is a journey carried out with taste, love, and time. Collecting is a wonderful way to bring art into your life, and is a contemplative, sophisticated, and pleasurable strategy that can round out your investment portfolio.
Art Outreach Chair, Mae Anderson, will deliver advice aspiring collectors need to buy wisely and cultivate a contemporary art collection that will develop throughout their lifetime. When starting a collection, a background in art is not necessary, but developing an appreciation of style and a willingness to learn will stand you in good stead. This insightful talk will examine the best ways to get started and discuss the ins and outs of maintaining and displaying your growing art collection.
