Are you looking to be kinder to our planet? Or are you a seasoned sustainability hero?

The Collaboree Project, funded by Moreton Bay Regional Council, are hosting three workshops that will focus on INSPIRING and SUPPORTING SUSTAINABLE LIVING.

These free workshops draw on wisdom and experiences from Indigenous, multicultural and intergenerational cultures. Entire generations that have fostered harmonious living between humans and the environment.

The Details:
The workshops will take place between June and October and will be held at the Redcliffe Youth Space - Corner of Anzac and Oxley Avenues Redcliffe.

The First Workshop will be held:
When: Saturday 7 June
Time: 11am - 1pm
Theme: Culture Shift for Sustainability.
Location: Redcliffe Youth Space - Corner of Anzac and Oxley Avenues Redcliffe.
**
How to Book:**
The workshops are free and open to all, but numbers are strictly limited. Book now to avoid the disappointment of missing out.

The Speakers:
This interactive workshop will feature expert speakers including:
- Tony Ayers (a descendant of Aboriginal clan in South East Queensland, with extensive experience promoting the culture of first nation people)
- Representatives from the Balaangala Garden Space (a thriving Indigenous garden created by an active reconciliation group on Brisbane's northside) and
- Michelle Maloney (the National Convenor of the Australian Earth Laws Alliance).

You will also be provided with sustainably sourced food and a film screening.

This workshop will help participants to understand what they can do on a practical level to change behaviour towards sustainability. Discussions will look at a myriad of ideas on how our actions and thoughts can help us to build strong, healthy and resilient communities.

With so much happening around the world, this is a lovely way to start making sustainable changes in our own backyards.

Future workshops will be centred around:

Collaboree #2 – Create for Sustainability: Coming in August

Collaboree #3 – Connect for Sustainability: Coming in October
