They are the biggest band since U2 and they have just announced they will be bringing their Mylo Xyloto tour to Australia in November. That's right, Coldplay is coming to Sydney!

The tour comes on the back of Coldplay's fifth studio album, Mylo Xyloto, which reached Number 1 on the Australian charts and recorded double platinum sales. The single 'Paradise' went five times platinum and has become the highest selling Coldplay single ever in Australia. You know, the one with the 'para para paradise' line? I had it stick in my head for weeks.

Chugg Entertainment's Executive Chairman, Michael Chugg, has this to say of the tour; "Having seen the show at the Hollywood Bowl a couple of weeks ago, I can guarantee fans are going to be blown away by this show - it's visually spectacular and they sound better than ever."

Sydneysiders will have the chance to see what the fuss is about when the band plays at Allianz Stadium on November 17th and 18th. The show will include all of the band's biggest songs, like 'Yellow', 'Viva la Vida' and 'Paradise' and the band will be supported by The Temper Trap and US sister-act The Pierces.

Chris Martin himself can't wait and has hinted that it will be something special, saying in a statement, "We can't wait to get back to Australia this November. It's such a special place for us. These venues are pretty huge, the Aussie crowds are always incredible and we'll be bringing everything we've got. It's going to be big."
