Life is about the journey - some roads are not always what they seem but you sure learn a great deal from them!

A thriller infused with contemptuous humour

There are a number of reasons why I wanted to see this movie. However, the most important reason of them all is that I really enjoy Liam Neeson as an actor.

I am confident that Liam Neeson fans will not be disappointed in the latest action thriller that is served with a 'shot' of contemptuous humour.

The movie starts with a snowplow driver named Nels Coxman (Liam Neeson). He lives in a small town with his wife and son. His days are filled with driving his snowplow to clear the way for motorists. However, on one particular day, he notices his wife walking in the snow. He finds out that his son was murdered.

The action begins with Nels seeking revenge for the death of his son. Unlike Liam Neeson's previous role in Taken, Nels is not equipped with a skill set for this job. After his first successful attempt, Nels begins a chain of events that draws in two drug lords and their affiliates. With twists and turns in the storyline, viewers are kept engaged throughout the movie, while simultaneously been thrown a 'funny' bone.

Personally, I found Cold Pursuit a refreshing take to Liam's 'normal' role. This movie is rated 'M15 plus ', however, it is a definite must watch.
