Rock out with Cold Chisel
Fans of Australian rock band Cold Chisel are in for a treat when the band officially kicks off the Queensland leg of their One Night Stand tour at the Castrol Gold Coast 600 on October 24, 2015.
Jimmy Barnes and and the band have announced that the V8 Supercar event will be a rocking one as the tour sells out shows across the country.
Cold Chisel has been announced as the band to kick off the Castrol 600 Gold Coast event.
The band's Gold Coast performance is set to take place on Saturday, October 24 is expected to sell out.
Along with the grandstand seating and the air-conditioned corporate suites, limited tickets for the best seats in the house are available via Ticketek. Free public transport is available on certain services to and from the event with a pre-purchased ticket.
The event brings together lovers of auto racing from around the globe.
Racing lovers will also be thrilled by Robby Gordon's stadium trucks being shipped from the US to the Gold Coast following their popularity at the Clipsal 500 Adelaide.
These mega-trucks jump man-made ramps and fly up to 100 metres in the air as well as reach jaw-dropping speeds of up to 210km/h, making this event a true pulse racer.
Attendees are sure to get their pulses racing, enjoy some legendary Australian rock anthems, an all-Australian DJ lineup, do a bit of celebrity spotting and enjoy one of the biggest events to hit Queensland every year.
And then there's the main show that's certain to rev you up... the V8 Supercars, the Porsche Carrera Cup Australia, V8 Utes, Formula 4, FMX motocross stunt shows and Matt Mingay's Hot Wheels Stunt Team. Even non-racing enthusiasts are certain to be wowed.
