The inaugural
Coffs Coast Cartoon Festival will be
in full swing on Father's Day, Sunday 2 September 2018, in conjunction with the
30th Rotary Cartoon Awards Exhibition, and
Awards Presentation Night, hosted by
The Bunker Cartoon Gallery. Running from 9am to 2pm at Harbourside Markets, Jetty Foreshores, Marina Drive, Coffs Harbour, NSW, it's a
free event, but you need to register.
What a unique and memorable way to celebrate Father's Day, with lots of family fun at the
Harbourside Markets on the stunning Jetty Foreshores at Coffs Harbour. High-profile cartoonists and artists in town for the exhibition and presentation will be lending a hand to help make this festival and standout event! The Rotary Cartoon Awards will be on display daily from 10 am to 4 pm at the
Bunker Cartoon Gallery from 1 September until 21 October.
Don't miss the
Grand Cartoon Costume Parade at 10am that starts at the Jetty, not to mention other events like workshops, characters from the Smileys, pop-up cartoon shops, visiting cartoonists, live drawing, art stations, caricatures of Dad, pavement art, a
jazz band and more. Stay interactive and updated on the

Head to the
30th Rotary Cartoon Awards Exhibition on times and dates as aforementioned and see the best of Australian, International and School-Age cartoonists' original works on display. Admission is $5 Adults, $3 children under 16, and Friends of the Bunker and kids under 5 go free.
The
Cartoon Awards Presentation Night, also on Sat 1 September, will be from 6-9pm at the Bunker Cartoon Galley as above. Get your
$35 tickets for this cartoonists' night-of-nights. Mix, mingle and hear their stories and learn of their art and love of cartooning. Category winners and Cartoon of the Year will be announced.
Ticket prices include entry, refreshments, drink voucher, and entertainment by
Heather Rose. The 30th Awards Presentation Guest MC is
Warren Brown, the cartoonist from
The Daily Telegraph. A night not to be missed, especially if you're a cartoon enthusiast.
