Who put that bee in my coffee?
Coffee Tea or Me Espresso Bar, 255 Margaret St, Toowoomba.
Coffee Tea or Me Espresso Bar knows how to steam out the perfect coffee in haste while at the same time having a relaxed chat. A buzzing head was not expected from the smooth and delicious Luck of the Irish Latte. The Green Goblin Latte with Irish mint and cream must have an even stronger kick. The shots are well balanced so that the mint flavour isn't like sucking a lolly. The coffee was finished off with a heart latte art.
Loved by locals for six years, some of Coffee Tea or Me's customers have gifted them with numerous notes in foreign currency which adorn the urban chic brick wall. It seems everyone feels they belong to this narrow aisle of a café, making it their own secret coffee isle, discovered hiding between shops. No doubt those en route to work are hooked in by the intoxicating aromas wafting outside.
Foreign currency gifted to the owner fits the urban feel.
Reasonable prices are another attraction with 'Coffee Cocktails' only $4.50. With creative shots galore, there's a flavour for most days of the month including 'Cowboy' with butterscotch, 'White Turkey' with white chocolate and rose and 'Dirty Hippy' with chai, cinnamon and chocolate.
On sale are numerous coffee-related products with several signs and a canister with the familiar slogan 'Keep Calm and Carry On'.
Coffee Tea or Me are definitely in the top three for quality coffee in Toowoomba and could just be the fastest service in town. The lack of bitterness in the coffee makes a modish sip and easy to finish off for those in a hurry.
