Came across this quaint little café nestled in a residential area north of Christchurch on the first morning we arrived. There are plenty of seats both inside and outside of the cafe considering the weather in Christchurch could be pretty chilly even during the summer months.
There are a wide variety of bagels, scones, pies, pastries, muffins and calzone on display. We ended up ordering a savoury cheesy scone

and a bagel filled with smoked chicken and cranberry sauce.
The bagel was divine! It was probably one of the best bagels that I've tasted so far. With the appetising cranberry sauce complimenting the slightly smoked and salty chicken and the pumpkin seeds bagel, every bite was bursting with flavour. On the other hand, the scone was too oily and lack of texture. I'll highly recommend giving the bagel a try if you do pass by
