I had visited the Coffee Company some months prior and recalled a truly pleasant experience on all fronts, this next visit did not fall short of being enjoyable. As you enter the interestingly designed cafe/shop you are greeted with the placement of assorted coffee beans to be purchased if required. This addition to a cafe felt, to me, unique and original.
Before documenting on the cafe itself, I'll add a little note regarding the quality of the beans themselves, they are indeed top notch from my own personal experience. A wide range of choice is key to their business, on each visit you can opt to investigate the essence of a new type of coffee - which, to me, was a fundamental aspect to any coffee retailer.
Onto the Cafe itself. I was pleasantly surprised with the friendly staff who work there, they had patience with my casual approach to choosing the perfect coffee for the morning. The coffee itself was exceptional, the latte which I usually opt for at most cafes surpassed my desire for quality.
Negative aspects however, do exist. Such aspects are largely subjective depending on the individual. As a start, the previously noted appearance of the cafe/shop may not appeal to the modern/funky theme adopted by many cafes today. The design, to some, may be perceived as overly-basic and lacking the energy of other cafes. Keep this in mind if you are seeking to visit the cafe; coming through with the expectation of viewing arrays of artistic imagery or colorful paintings will not satisfy you.
However, even with this in mind, a bold recommendation is given to the Coffee Company on Balaclava - the atmosphere is casual and urban and the coffee itself is unique and pleasurable.
