Fantastic coffee from an inner city hot spot
Recently, when hearing friends talking about Adelaide, the phrase "Leigh Street" is continually part of the conversation. With that in mind, this reviewer decided to find out what the buzz is about. While down there I visited Coffee Branch, the go-to coffee spot for city dwellers looking for their weekday caffeine pick me up.

One of the first things visitors will notice is the stylish, contemporary setting in which to enjoy their coffee, meal or dessert treat. Filled with unique art pieces that compliment the slick black décor and inner city vibe of the café. It is always a pleasure to have coffee or a meal in a place filled with great scenery.

The toasted sandwiches from Coffee Branch arrive with perfect presentation

Available on the lunch menu at Coffee Branch is a range of gourmet-toasted sandwiches. These toasted sandwiches are made using continental bread and the ham and cheese example, shown above, features a side of onion jam served separately. These are served on wooden boards, adding to the contemporary feel of the café.

Another of the foods available are the vegetable quiches, with the pea and fetta cheese version shown above. Served after being warmed, this is an ideal choice for diners seeking a lunch option filled with hearty vegetables. This dish is also served with a side salad, adding an extra element to the meal.

However, a visit to Coffee Branch would not be complete without, of course, a coffee. While dining there, this reviewer opted to try a vanilla chai latte, which was a delicately flavoured drink that features a taste best suited to the sweet toothed among diners. Also, they offer a large range of coffees that feature a strong, distinct coffee flavour.

Additionally, there is a range of sweet treats available from Coffee Branch. Including danishes, croissants and mini muffins - they are sure to please anyone looking for a dessert during the day.

Final word: Coffee Branch makes for an ideal place to stop by and have a meal. Alternatively, it is also somewhere that is great to grab a coffee on the go while in town. Overall, it is a must visit for inner city dwellers and workers looking to grab a quick coffee during their lunch hour.
