Want to discover a restaurant with a variety of menu style options? Then Coconut Grove Bar and Bistro is for you. It's breezy, beachy atmosphere with large deck overlooking sunshine beach parkland towards the sea, makes for a delightful setting. It offers a regular restaurant style a la carte menu with an emphasis on local seafood such as Noosa spanner crabs and Hervey scallops. However, meatlovers are also catered for with lamb rump, eye fillet or duck dishes on the menu, often with an Asian twist. Children are also welcome and a kid's menu is available.

If you can make it there on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, a special Summerlicious 3 course special menu including a glass of wine for $34.50 is on offer. It makes a great vehicle for sampling different aspects of the menu and it changes every week. Andy and his friendly efficient crew conveniently send this enticing 3 course special menu weekly by email to you for your perusal. By submitting your email to them, you go in the draw for a dining voucher. The night we went, it was with a large group of twenty or so diners, a situation that often challenges many restaurants but the coconut grove team coped well with delicious food and drinks arriving promptly and with courteous service. BYO bottled wine is welcomed at $7 per bottle although the restaurant is licensed

Beside the restaurant is the Deck which offers a more casual menu of various burgers, pizzas, pastas and desserts. There is also a Five @ 5 special food and beverage menu offered from 5 pm for $5 per item for those wanting something light or tapas.
