Cocoa & Rose serves all-day breakfast and all-day lunch
Cocoa & Rose is a small family-run cafe located in the heart of the CBD. It opened its doors in September 2014 and a year later was taken over by Marian and her son Jack. The cafe has flourished since then, becoming well known for its intimate atmosphere, great service and excellent food and coffee.
Cocoa & Rose has a great atmosphere and a friendly vibe
The cafe is open Monday to Friday from 6.30am to 2.00pm and on Saturdays from 7.00am to 2.00pm and on Sundays from 7.30am to 2.00pm. They serve all-day breakfast and all-day lunch and feature vegetarian and child-friendly options. There is indoor and outdoor seating available and they are available for takeaway.
Pull up a chair in their new Alfresco area
The City of Perth recently granted Cocoa & Rose a business improvement grant to help support their business and to improve their outdoor dining area. To celebrate the opening of their new and improved Alfresco area, Cocoa & Rose are offering a 20% discount to all Alfresco dine-in customers until 28 February 2021.
You can't go wrong with Eggs Benedict
When we arrived at Cocoa & Rose, it was early on a Saturday morning. The staff were friendly and welcoming and directed to the outdoor Alfresco area. There were lots of tables and chairs to choose from. We picked a table in the shade and had a look at all-day breakfast menu. The first dish we picked out was Eggs Benedict for $16. It came with two poached eggs, bacon and spinach on a Turkish roll with a side of hollandaise sauce.
There's nothing like waffles on a Saturday morning
We ordered waffles and fruit for $5.95 off the kids menu for our daughter. It came with two waffles, lightly dusted with powdered chocolate and drizzled with chocolate sauce, and topped with cream and sliced strawberries and kiwi fruit. The waffles had a nice crunch to them and were sweet and tasty. It is a decadent breakfast that will definitely put a smile on a kid's face.
I ordered a Mushroom Cheese Omelette
I ordered a Mushroom Cheese Omelette for $15 off the all-day breakfast menu. It came with four slices of buttered wholemeal toast and a generously sized, lightly browned omelette. I really enjoyed this dish. The omelette was packed with flavour and bursting with mushrooms and gooey, melted cheese. I would definitely go back and get it again. I highly recommend it.
