Beep Beep: Get your groove on this Fringe season at the Coco Taxi Latin Spectacular!**

Prepare to shake what your momma gave you and get your groove on as Coco Taxi Latin Spectacular rocks the Adelaide Fringe this Mad March!



Returning after a string of four spectacular sold out shows in 2018, Coco Taxi featured the exotic talents of Latin dancers from local dance studio, La Bomba Latin Productions.

With doors opening at 7:45pm, guests were able to choose from a Latin-inspired food menu as well as an extensive tropical cocktail list before kicking back, relaxing and enjoying the show.

The Vegetarian Nachos ($8) came with corn chips smothered in tasty salsa, guacamole, sour cream and cheese, with chilli as an additional extra for the brave. Much like a beef burrito wrapped into a pie, the Beef Empanadas ($7) consisted of beef and olive wrapped into a pasty, served with fresh salsa.



To wet our whistle, we tried the signature Coco Taxi Cocktail ($12) from their Coco Taxi Bar Menu. The sky-blue concoction consisted of white rum, coconut and pineapple juice mixed with a dash of raspberry, proving to be a tropical getaway in a glass.

The fun and frivolities kicked off at 8:30pm, with a band of talented locals known as the Coco Taxi All Stars transporting audiences on a musical journey across the Caribbean islands of Cuba, the Dominican Republic and Brazil in Latin America.



Scattered in amongst musical numbers and songs were performances that told the story of a hilariously charming taxi cab driver, whose mission is to showcase the hottest fiestas, cabarets and carnivals across Latin America to each and every tourist he meets.



The highlight of the show had to be La Bomba's talented ensemble of vivacious, vibrant Latin Dancers, who wowed audiences with their sequinned costumes, elaborately feathered headpieces and waves of ruffles. Swirling and twirling at one hundred miles a minute, the lovely Latin ladies even got audience members up on their feet to dance the Salsa, Mambo, Rumba and Samba just to name a few!



With extravagant costumes, Afro-Cuban rhythmic beats, elaborately choreographed high-intensity dance routines, Coco Taxi Latin Spectacular perfectly captures the Latino charm and charisma and is a sure-fire hit bound to get everyone up on their feet as they dance the night away!



Coco Taxi Latin Spectacular rocked the Serbian Hall in Hindmarsh for three limited-time only performances from Friday 1 – Sunday 3 March, with doors opening at 7:45pm before the show commenced at 8:30pm.
