Coco Cubano is a delicious little open cafe in the Pacific Fair Shopping Centre in Broadbeach.
While staying on the Gold Coast last year, we stopped off at Coco Cubano for a bite to eat before heading to the airport. At first, I was unsure if it was a good choice because I had never eaten Cuban inspired food before but once the food came out and we dug in, I knew we made the best choice.
I tried the southern fried chicken burger with hot chips. It was an unbelievably great tasting with coleslaw and aioli sauce.
Some other menu items the rest of the family tried were the chicken fajitas, quinoa salad, mushroom quesadilla, and haloumi Cuban sandwich.
All my family agreed that their food tasted amazing and we wished there was a cafe like it back in Melbourne.
Other mentionable aspects about the cafe are that the staff were really friendly, the food came out quickly even though they said it would take thirty minutes, and the coffee was really delicious too.
Coco Cubano also does breakfast and dinner and serves a lovely assortment of alcoholic beverages. We wish we could try these other options but for now, we will have to wait until we are back in Queensland.
Overall, I think this cafe is amazing and others should give it a try next time they are at Pacific Fair and looking for something to eat.
