Heaven for chocolate lovers
Are you a self confessed chocolate lover? Doesn't matter what kind of chocolate; milk chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate... you would eat it all, bathe in it all, lick it all up? Ever dreamed of being up to your elbows in velvety, glossy melting chocolate? If your answer is yes to any or all of the above then Coco Chocolate is the place for you.

The very clever crew at Coco Chocolate on the stunning grounds of HMAS Penguin, Mosman will teach you how to really appreciate the glory of chocolate.

The class involved tempering chocolate which means heating then cooling then heating chocolate again. Once that process is complete and you are licking your fingers free of any remnants (because you just can't help it), you pour the chocolate into a mould or onto a tray or simply onto a marble table.

For the milk chocolate we poured 4 kilograms of chocolate onto trays and sprinkled freeze dried raspberries over the top before allowing it to set. The white chocolate was next and we poured small amounts into block moulds and sprinkled cocoa nibs onto it. Finally the dark chocolate was poured onto a marble bench for us to scrape at, to make shavings for a decadent hot chocolate.

It was a glorious afternoon spent exploring all things chocolate and we even went home with a little goodie bag of the chocolates we had made. The proof was in the pudding.. or in the goodie bag .. and the goodies were amazing!!
