Event:
Sunshine and warmth, come enjoy a day with nature
Adelaide days are finally starting to get warmer and longer and with summer time almost here it is time to turn our minds to how to get out and about in the sunshine, after the long and dark winter months. What better way than to come along to the Cobbler Creek BioBlitz and learn all about the Reserve, its wildlife, walks and fascinating ruins.

Events are planned all day; you can take a Teakle Ruins Historical Tour, Reptile, Wildlife or Bird Walk and discover Micro-Invertebrates or Nature Art. There are heaps of sessions especially for children where they get to meet native wildlife, learn about invertebrates and much more. You may meet a brown falcon, vanilla-lily or a chocolate wattled bat. There is a vast array of wildlife that call Cobbler Creek home.

Evening activities include learning about meteorites and life in space, moth trapping, bat searching and spotlighting for mammals. There is something to see and do for everyone.

Base camp is located off Smith Road, Salisbury East (corner of Bridge Road). There is plenty of parking available but please consider car pooling, walking, riding or catching the bus. Bus stop 45A (stop code 10680) on Bridge Road is approximately 7 minutes walk from base camp. Go to Adelaide Metro, to find the most appropriate bus for you.
