Coast Club Sunshine Coast - Summer School Holidays 2020/2021

Summer school holidays for Queensland are peeking over the horizon and how exciting to know that there are awesome adventures awaiting, to keep the kids active and entertained. The Coast Club Sunshine Coast run two daily adventure sessions during the school holidays, jam-packed with exhilarating, challenging, safe and fun activities. All sessions at the Sunshine Coast Recreation Centre are led by friendly and professional trained instructors, aimed at children eight years of age and older. The best part? Parents and family members are welcome to join in on the fun too!

Every day the children have a different selection of activities to choose from. Boisterous adventures like canoeing, raft building, vertical climbing, giant swing, bodyboarding, stand up paddle boarding and surfing are all on the agenda for the thrill-seekers in the family.

The Sunshine Coast Recreation Centre have made a few adjustments and are at present only running morning and full-day sessions. Every session will include one or two activities, with some alternative activities available in the case of bad weather or extra-large groups. The full-day adventure combines both the morning and afternoon activities with the added addition of lunch.
***Morning adventures commence at 9.00 am to 12.00noon for $29.05 per person

Full day adventures commence at 9.00am to 3.30pm including lunch (12.00pm to 12.30pm) for $67.05 per person**

To prepare for your adventures, please bring -

hat and sunscreen

water bottle

comfy fitted clothes

enclosed shoes

healthy snacks

For the water-based activities, please bring -

swimwear and a towel

wet shoes or spare shoes

spare clothing

For tight spaces, you will need -

knee-length pants

Drop Off

Drop off is available from 8.30am. Sessions start at exactly 9.00am, so please allow sufficient time to park, complete the activity release form and pay (if you haven't already paid online or via phone call) at the sign-in desk.

Pick Up

Pick-up can be as late as 4.00pm. Parents/guardians must please provide photo ID for pick up. The staff should be notified of any changes regarding pick up, to ensure everyone's safety.

Please register for your Sunshine Coast school holiday adventures online here. Alternatively, bookings can be made by calling 1800 753 732. Session spots are only secured once payment has been received.

Indoor Rock Climbing

The Rock Face at the Sunshine Coast Recreation Centre is open to the public every Saturday between 9.00am and 4.30pm, with four must-book sessions a day -

9.00am to 10.30am

11.00am to 12.30pm

1.00pm to 2.30pm

3.00pm to 4.30pm

Bookings for indoor rock climbing are absolutely essential. Please call 1800 753 732 to choose your daily times.

Plus a Bonus!! Book a Family Escape at the Sunshine Coast Recreation Centre's holiday accommodation over a weekend or during the school holidays when the rock wall is open and receive complimentary rock climbing passes for the whole family. Offer only available until 24 January 2021. Please mention the code 'HolidayRock' when enquiring.

Outdoor Pool

The Sunshine Coast's Recreation Centre's pool is also open for public use over weekends and school holidays for only $3.90 per person or totally FREE for rock climbers. Swimmers of all ages are welcome. Children under the age of fifteen are to be accompanied by an adult over the age of eighteen. Please follow the directions of the on-site lifeguard at all times.
