September school holidays are just around the corner and what better way to keep the kids active and involved, than at the Coast Club at the Sunshine Coast Recreation Centre. The Coast Club Sunshine Coast run adventure activities that are packed with exciting, safe and challenging fun. All sessions at the Sunshine Coast Recreation Centre are mentored by experienced and friendly staff members and are aimed at children eight years of age and older. The best part? Parents and families are welcome to join in on the fun too!
Every day the children have a different selection of activities to choose from. Fun adventures like canoeing, raft building, giant swing, bodyboarding, archery and surfing are all available for the boisterous daredevils in the family.
The Sunshine Coast Recreation Centre have made a few changes and will only be running morning and full-day sessions. Every session will include one or two activities, with some alternative activities available in the case of bad weather or extra-large groups. The full-day adventure combines both the morning and afternoon activities with the added addition of lunch.
Morning adventures commence at 9.00 am to 12.00noon for $29.05 per person
Full day adventures commence at 9.00am to 3.30pm including lunch (12.00pm to 12.30pm) for $67.05 per person
Drop off is available from 8.30am. Sessions start at exactly 9.00am, so please allow sufficient time to park, complete the activity release form and pay (if you haven't already paid online or via phone call) at the sign-in desk.
Pick-up can be as late as 4.00pm. Parents/guardians must please provide photo ID for pick up. The staff should be notified of any changes regarding pick up, to ensure everyone's safety.
Spring into the September school holidays with dare-devil adventures for the whole family. There's nothing more rewarding than knowing that the children can at last safely play outdoors, happily using up energy on more green time and ultimately less screen time.
