Easter school holidays are just around the corner and what better way to keep the kids active and involved, than at the Coast Club at the Sunshine Coast Recreation Centre. The Coast Club Sunshine Coast run adventure activities that are packed with exciting, safe and challenging fun. All sessions at the Sunshine Coast Recreation Centre are mentored by experienced and friendly staff members and are aimed at children eight years of age and older. The best part? Parents and families are welcome to join in on the fun too!
Every day the children have a different selection of activities to choose from. Fun adventures like canoeing, caving, giant swing, bodyboarding, archery and surfing are all available for the boisterous daredevils in the family.
The Sunshine Coast Recreation Centre runs morning, afternoon and full-day sessions. Each session will include one or two activities, with some alternative activities available in the case of bad weather or extra-large groups. The full-day adventure combines both the morning and afternoon activities with the added addition of lunch.
Morning adventures commence at 9.00 am to 12.00noon for $29.05 per person Afternoon adventures commence at 12.30pm to 3.30pm for $29.05 per person Full day adventures commence at 9.00am to 3.30pm including lunch for $67.05 per person
Sessions start at exactly 9.00am and 12.30pm, so please allow sufficient time to park, complete the activity release form and pay (if you haven't already paid online or via phone call) at the sign-in desk.
Parents/guardians must please provide photo ID for pick up. The staff should be notified of any changes regarding pick up, to ensure everyone's safety.
The Rock Face - indoor rock climbing - at the Sunshine Coast Recreation Centre is also open to the public every Saturday between 9.00am and 4.00pm and specific weekdays during the Easter school holidays between 9.00am and 5.00pm.
