The September school holidays are just around the corner and how good is it to have a fabulous variety of healthy outdoor activities to keep the kids active, entertained and happy. Coast Club Gold Coast school holiday adventure activities are held at the Gold Coast Recreation Centre/Tallebudgera Leisure Centre . All adventure activity sessions are mentored by experienced and friendly staff members and are aimed at children eight years of age and older. The best part? Parents and families are welcome to join in on the fun too!

Every day the children have a different selection of adventure activities to choose from. Fun adventures like bodyboarding, abseiling, vertical climbing, archery, surfing plus heaps more, are all available for the energetic daredevils in the family.

The Coast Club Gold Coast have made a few modifications to ensure everyone remains COVID safe and are now running either morning or full-day adventure sessions. Each session will include one or two activities, with some alternative activities available in the case of bad weather or extra-large groups.

Morning adventures commence at 9.00 am to 12.00noon (3 hours) for $29.05 per person

Full-day adventures commence at 9.00am to 3.30pm (6 hours) including lunch for $67.05 per person

The full-day adventure activities combine the morning and afternoon activities, with lunch provided from 12–12.30pm.

To prepare for your adventures, please bring:

hat and sunscreen

water bottle

comfy fitted clothes

enclosed shoes

a healthy snack

For the water-based activities, please bring:

swimwear and a towel

wet shoes or spare shoes

spare clothing

Drop Off
Sessions start at exactly 9.00am, so please allow sufficient time to park, complete the activity release form and pay (if you haven't already paid online or via phone call) at the sign-in desk.
Drop off is available from 8.30am.

Pick Up
Parents/guardians must please provide photo ID for pick up. The staff should be notified of any changes to pick up, to ensure everyone's safety. Pick up can be as late as 4.00pm.

Indoor rock climbing, with entry via the Tallebudgera Leisure Centre on the Gold Coast, is open to the public every Saturday between 8.30am and 4.30pm and will also be open during the September school holidays from Monday 21 September to Friday 25 September, 8.30am to 4.30pm and Monday 28 September to Friday 2 October, 8.30am to 4.30pm.

Pools
The Gold Coast Recreation Centre is also opening up their pool for public use during the school holidays for only $3.90 per person. Swimmers of all ages are welcome to dive in, as long they follow the directions of the on-site lifeguard at all times, and children under 15 need to be accompanied by an adult.
