Talented Anna Quayle lights up faces of kids in song & dance
On a recent trip to the Sunshine Coast, my host took me to a Saturday afternoon jazz band entertainment at the Harbour Wine Bar, Noosa Marina. Plan "B" Modern Jazz Quartet and Anna Quayle are a regular line-up and just the thing you need to wrap yourself into great music for the night ahead.

Plan B are sought after and have plenty of gigs on their agenda, however, you may be fortunate to book them for your special occasion. The band's unique style is a combination of years of experience in blues, rock, reggae, steel bands, folk and jazz.
Lead singer Anna Quayle was born in Wales, but from an early age, has made Australia her home. She is known extensively across the Sunshine Coast for her expertise in song and dance, as the proprietor and teacher of Coast Academy of Song and Dance (CASD), as well as performing professionally in Australia and abroad.

Performances included cruise ships, playing Hannah Montana when the performance toured Ireland, English touring cabarets, pantomimes, International TV commercials, the lead in two musical theatre productions at Tokyo Disneyland and more recently in Hollywood, in a jazz performance singing at the Sunset Lounge in Beverley Hills and in Bora Bora over the Christmas/New Year Holiday period, where she played Frida in an Abba Tribute Show.
On meeting Anna, I found an attractive young woman who was humble with accolades yet confident with the talent performed to her audience. Her passion for music, dance and singing were obvious, yet she was appreciative of the opportunities that have come her way thus far.

Studying music and theatre at the University of Wollongong, Anna specialised in classical singing before moving to London to fulfil a dream of becoming a professional performer. During her time in London, Anna achieved her Ballet Teaching Diploma from the British Ballet Organisation, where she also taught. It was nine years before she returned to Australia and opened CASD, and along with other teachers, is now giving eager students the experience to also achieve their dreams. Anna also gives private lessons in ballet and singing.
Students at CASD can learn ballet, musical theatre and drama, with the content of these requiring discussion before registration, so your child needs are met for the year ahead.
