We wandered up the street, having left the ferry at Ettalong with no plans. The stylish awnings caught my eye, and we were lured inside by the baskets of fresh fruit and vegetables in the window, and the crowds inside, indicating it was obviously the popular choice for a lazy Sunday lunch.

We were able to grab the last free table, and were pleasantly surprised by the range on the menu, especially for vegetarians. However, the burgers looked too good to miss, so settled in for hearty fare and an upmarket and interesting soft drink selection.

Open for breakfast and lunch, this café offers a menu with interesting tastes and flavours, with a focus on fresh ingredients and a home-made style.

The prices are low, compared to Sydney, and no one had room for dessert, which in a way was rather disappointing as the sweets that appeared on the table next to us were extremely enticing.

If looking for an excellent low key lunch, grab the ferry and head up to Coast 175 for a special day that you'll remember with surprising fondness or if staying on the Central Coast, why not head over for what appears to be a superb breakfast with great coffee, which is what I'm hoping to do next time we visit!
