Join the
Coal Loader Tours at the
Coal Loader Centre for Sustainability,
2 Balls Head Drive, Waverton on the
1st Saturday of each month from 10.30am to 11.30am and learn the fascinating history of the ex-industrial site and how it was transformed into a Centre for Sustainability.
Dates of tours range from
Sat 6 Feb to Sat 6 Nov 2021. The tours are
FREE, but you need to
register to secure your spot as spaces are limited to 15 people for each group. If needed, BYO keep cup and reusable water bottle etc.
Meet your volunteer guide at the main entrance.
Tours last approximately 1 hour and are suitable for ages 12 to 112 and cater for individuals, families and visitors in small groups. Large groups are requested to book into a mid-week guided tour, where you can be accommodated more easily. All physical abilities are welcome as the site is fully accessible.
Please do not attend if you are suffering any COVID-19 related symptoms and keep 1.5m distance from other guests and the tour guide. Please only book if you can make it.

FREE to all local residents and suitable for all levels of experience. Disciplines vary each week and include yoga, strength training, Pilates, meditation and Tai Chi.

Sunset Sessions at The Coal Loader - Sydney's largest public rooftop garden, join in on the first Sunday of each month at the stunning waterside pop-up bar. There's a new guest gin at every event, locally brewed beer, organic wines, plus live acoustic music; and of course, the whole event series is sustainable! All abilities, kid-friendly, dog friendly

Australian Finska Championship - Finska is the seriously addictive outdoor log throwing game with its ancient origins in Finland. Finska is easy to learn and no prior experience is necessary. All ages are welcome to participate but there must be two players in each team.
