Celebrate Easter Olde Worlde Style at Coal Creek
Easter at Coal Creek, Easter Hunt, Easter, Coal Creek
Easter at Coal Creek, Korumburra

Celebrate Easter olde world style at Coal Creek on Sunday 5th April 2015.

Gates open at 10am for a non-denominational church service held in the historic church, followed by story telling in the Masonic Lodge ($2 per person), free games designed for the whole family at the Slab Cottage, take your chance on the lucky door prize at the rotunda and, of course, meet the Easter Bunny.

The bunny himself will be at Coal Creek on the day, hiding a selection of treasures. Hunting licenses are $5 per person and kids must search for golden blocks which they exchange for Easter Eggs!

Ever heard of Easter Wars? Allow Coal Creek to introduce you to this interesting game using pre-painted figures to ward off the terrible toads and swamps of surpassing stench in order to win the 'eternal gratitude of the oppressed teddy bear peasants'.

Coal Creek is open Thursday to Monday, 10am - 4.30pm and entry is FREE (except on special event days) and every day during school holidays.

Take a ride on the real life steam train just inside the gate, back in time before wandering the streets and visiting the beautifully preserved, historic buildings.

Coal Creek is located at 12 Siltstone Road, Korumburra and you can read a more detailed description about this living museum here.

There is free onsite parking and surrounding street parking. BBQ facilities are in the car park alongside a playground and visitors can bring either a picnic or dine at the Pig and Whistle Cafe.
