Fans of fried chicken are about to find themselves in crispy fried chicken heaven when the three-day Cluck Yeah! Fried Chicken Festival pops up at Morphettville Racecourse this November!
This free entry festival celebrates fried chicken from all over the world. Did you know that the earliest known recipe for fried chicken was a Roman recipe from the fourth century? Or that Southern Fried Chicken has its roots in Scottish and African methods? Korean fried chicken only became popular in the mid 20th century but boy has it made an impact on the fried chicken scene in such a short time.
This epic event includes every type of fried chicken you can imagine from wings to nuggets brought to you by a variety of South Australian vendors Buffalo Wing Co, Chimichurri Grill, Plus 82 POCHA, Nugg Lyf, Bukbuksouthernhot, Worldwide, Superfried Chicken, Burgertec, The Filipino Project, and Wingin' It and recently added the famous Karaage Burgers from Banh Mi Adelaide in Grenfell Street.
Adelaide favourites Pirate Life Brewery and Riot Wine Co will bring all the right beers, wines and softies to the Clucking Bar to help you wash down all that crispy and juicy fried chicken goodness. For entertainment there'll be a pop up video game arcade, djs spinning wicked tunes,
The Cluck Yeah! Fried Chicken Festival will be held at Morphettville Racecourse and is open 5 pm - 11pm Friday, Saturday 9th 11 am - 11 pm (only entry after 5 is free due to racing being held that day) and Sunday 11 am - 5 pm.
