Come and see the best of the best as they battle it out in the Southern 80 Ski Race.

If you love water skiing, this is an event you cannot miss! Now in its 49th year, Get ready to be amazed while watching the world's biggest ski race event with around 600 competitors from Australia and overseas.

Watch competitors tackle the 126 hair raising bends of the mighty Murray River from Torrumbarry to Echuca Moama behind boats that travel at speeds in excess of 200 kilometers per hour.

The is one of Australia's largest regional events, attracting crowds in excess of 80,000 to the banks of the Murray River.

The 2015 event will feature the best of the best racers with return of the 2014 winner 'Wild Thing' as they battle it out for first place and the honour of being crowned the winner of the .



From the finish line, see the boats screaming around the final bends to cross the line and enjoy additional riverfront activities including trade displays, food and drink stalls. From Melbourne it only takes two and a half hours drive to Echuca, where they hold this event on the second Sunday of February each year.
