Club Kilsyth Entrance

"See you at the Club"

As a common expression these days, one can be forgiven for wondering just which Club is intended to be the meeting place. Before you begin to wonder however, let's sort this out and let me say that it is the Club Kilsyth, sister to the Club Ringwood that I'm talking about in this post.

I've been a member of this Club on and off for a number of years now - in fact since long before the fire that destroyed the old clubrooms back in 2005. It's one of those places where you feel "at home". Staff meet and greet you as an old friend. They cater to families, groups, couples and even if you're single then you fit in just as nicely. Membership is only $10.00 per year and you gain points each visit for both food and drinks.

The dining room is well lit and tables are set around in such a way that you are not bumping into people behind or near you. They have a wine bar and during the winter months the warm and blazing fire keeps everyone cosy. Children are always welcome - Club Kilsyth is family friendly.

While I usually order and write about mains and desserts at eateries such as this, I decided to try their Seniors meal on my visit earlier this week. At $11.95 plus $2.00 for soup or dessert, this is a real bargain, taking into account the size of the seniors meal, which is ample and very satisfying. Food is served quickly and if a hot meal is chosen it always arrives that way.
