As someone who used to live in Seoul, South Korea, this was a nightclub I frequented on many of my weekends.
If like me and my friends, you're looking for a familiar surrounding in an altogether unfamiliar country, this club is for you.
Reminiscent of a grimy, dirty indie night-club from old Blighty, this club will have you feeling perfectly at home if you have a persuasion for indie music and 'dancing' like an utter fool.
As with anywhere in Seoul, drinks are ridiculously cheap. The music is Westernised and familiar, ranging from The Strokes to the Arctic Monkeys and everything in between. The DJ also welcomes song requests and has a vast amount of music available to him.
Don't go here if you want a chilled out night with topical conversation. This is exactly what it says on the tin, a dirty club with loud music and lots of drunk people.
GO-GO's is the upstairs part of the club and is supposedly the 'classier' part of the establishment. A little less action, a little more conversation up here.
FF's is the downstairs of the club, and is where you go to dance and really party, resembling a mosh pit of sorts, compact and sweaty, this is where you go after a few drinks down your neck from upstairs.
I'd recommend FF's and GO-GO's for any expat living in Seoul looking for a bit of familiarity and a really fun time. In this club you'll meet a vast amount of fellow foreigners in Seoul, all with similar mindsets, to have a good time and let loose the stresses of the week.
Located in Hongdae, not far from Hongdae park, down one of the various side streets, ask any foreigner for directions and you should be fine.
