After a pandemic hiatus, Cabaret Fringe Festival returns in 2021 to offer audiences the chance to experience a unique night out at an affordable price. The festival, more so than ever this year given travel concerns, showcases and supports local and emerging talent across Adelaide and Australia. At suburban venue Parks Theatre, M&M events presents Club Black Widow: a bar with funds as hopeless as their staff.

Join a club owner with a dream to wrangle glamour out of a venue not fit for a health inspection. The club's singer, goofy chef and inept waitresses are more determined to rival each other than let the club survive. Add in a devious property developer and a new bar across the street, and Club Black Widow's last drink may be sooner than they all thought.

While there may be no happy ending for these hopeless characters, seeing this local production may be your happy ending to the Cabaret Fringe Festival.

Club Black Widow is playing at the Parks Theatre, Angle Park on the 13th of June at 7pm. Tickets can be purchased here.
