Celebrate National Swap Day at the Clothing Exchange Pop Up
This Monday October 10 is National Swap Day and The Clothing Exchange is hosting simultaneous pop-up shops in Melbourne and Sydney to celebrate. Melbourne's RMIT is the chosen venue, close to the CBD and all those universities full of cash-strapped yet fashion-forward students. Bring your personal stylist and head on down to RMIT's Building 50 – you can bring a friend for free if you book online.
You can swap up to 6 pre-loved items (including accessories). They just have to be clean, pressed and in good condition and suitable for the coming season. Check-in takes place from 6pm and swapping starts at 7pm. Coffee, tea and bickies will be served and guest speaker Sam Leigh, of Australian sustainable fashion blog, ecomono, will share her style inspirations and tips on creating a beautiful monochrome wardrobe of essential pieces.
