This event is for women's clothing and accessories only! Please bring quality items (functional, unbroken and in good condition). All sizes, colours and styles are welcomed and wanted. Please limit the amount of clothes you bring to one bag or around 10 clothing items. See event page for all details.
Items can be delivered prior to the event. Please contact the Adelaide Sustainability Centre on (08) 7123 2166 or email Paige: firstname.lastname@example.org to make arrangements. Originally scheduled for Nov 2020, if you're one that has a Nov event ticket registration, it will be redeemable at this event.
Start clearing out the wardrobes for good quality items you no longer wear and make room for the new goodies you'll be bringing home. Bring high-quality clothing, accessories, shoes, jewellery etc you won't miss and browse and find new (to you) items to take home. Any clothing remaining at the end of the swap, and all profits will be donated to Common Ground Women's Services. A great sustainable way to shop, keep items out of landfill and curb the fashion industry's consumerism agenda, in style.
The Groove in the Garden Summer Session event in the urban oasis of the Joinery Common Ground Garden from 4-7pm is perfect for the wait time till the clothes swap begins. There's delicious food available from the award-winning Foodprint Experience, delightful wines from Gemtree and toe-tapping tunes from Brazil Nuts Orchestra. This is one sustainable celebration you don't want to miss. Places are limited so be sure to RSVP now to reserve your FREE ticket. Drop your clothes off early or prior to the event for some free time to explore the local dinner/market locales whilst the clothes are being sorted, or hang around and socialise at the Groove in the Garden.
