Event:
Clearing out your wardrobe for a worthy cause
Clothed in Splendour returns for yet another clothes swap event, with donations and ticket sales going towards SIM's - Girls off the Streets Project. Held at the Edwardstown Baptist Church, Clothed in Splendour is an all ages event comprising food, live entertainment, a guest speaker, a fashion show and a featured clothes swap. I'm sure many girls can agree that our wardrobes are overfilled with unworn items, some in perfect near new condition. What better way to do a wardrobe clean out than to donate your clothes to a worthy cause.

Tickets are $10, and include 3 pieces of clothing from the clothes swap and a delicious meal. Additionally, you can purchase more items for a mere gold coin donation. Who knows what you'll discover in the mix; past events have seen designer garments donated, some with tags still attached. As they say, one man's trash is another man's treasure.

All money raised will be donated to SIM's 'Girls off the Streets Project' which helps to rehabilitate adolescent girls and women who have been rescued from sex trafficking and sexual abuse. Offering medical care, legal guidance, education, and vocational opportunities to rescued victims, SIM needs your support to help traumatized women on their journey to freedom. Similarly, SIM have many programs in place that aim to prevent at-risk girls and vulnerable women from being trafficked through prevention programs.'Together with local partners, SIM is shining a light into the dark pit of modern slavery and violence against girls and women.'
