Geelong Regional Artist, Anna Reyolds set up a boutique shop only 2 years ago with her very own studio, where she can customise clothing for her clients and create her art! CLOTH is situated on the main road in Hesse Street, Queenscliff on the Bellarine Peninsula.



As I entered her labyrinth, I was truly blown away and amazed by the collection of bespoke garments, scarfs, handbags, cushions, and jewellery on display throughout the shop. Anna's creative talents also include interior design, where she skillfully designed her own shop interior!

I entered the fitting room to try on a dress from her recent collection, and felt like I was in a harem. Fabric oozes out of every corner and almost cocoons you! Soft, tactile and seductive, the fabric moves with you!

Fabric has been reinvented, salvaged, dyed, block printed, cut, shredded and hand stitched to create something new! Anna uses natural fibres, traditional fabric production and a contemporary art practice, common placed by digital culture. Each piece is unique and deconstructed; you may see her ironing and steaming old linen and silk fabrics. Anna has created each piece into wearable art.





CLOTH supports Women's Development by working with the fair trade network THE STITCHING PROJECT in Rajasthan, India where she ethically sources fabrics and handloom cloth and manufacturing.



Anna Reynolds offers her services one on one if you are looking for a unique outfit to be customised to suit you! She has over 30 years of experience in the local and international Arts sector. Her enterprises have included Exhibition Residency, Education, Commission, Consultation, Governance and Facilitation.



I couldn't resist the temptation to own a piece of Anna's art. I love supporting local makers, so my eye was drawn to a gorgeous green bag made from upcycled saris and skillfully woven into a stunning new shopping bag! This was going to come in handy, having just arrived in Queenscliff for the day I needed a bag to carry my future purchases.

Will definitely be back to seek out unique gifts for family or friends. I may even spoil myself with a new dress.
