Byron Bay rockers
Clone were formed in April this year, and this Thursday 23rd August marks their debut show on the Gold Coast. The band will be blessing the Surfers Paradise
Beer Garden as part of the venue's "
Thrash Thursdays ", which has been running throughout August.
If Clone, describing themselves as a "progressive everything" band, sound at all familiar, you're not imagining things. Three-quarters of the group are from the freshly retired
T.O.U.C.H . Vocalist Cameron Haydec, pianist/bassist Kurt Hayward and Drummer Sam Morrin remain, welcoming the incoming Chris Eshman on guitar. If you're at all familiar with the boys' performances as T.O.U.C.H, you'll understand that they have every intention of making this gig worthwhile. With unashamedly captivating live shows and a following that will make you look twice, this won't be a show to miss. The cover charge is only $5, so head down at 7pm to support some amazing local bands!
