Unleash your inner monkey
Gotta be brave to jump from there
Clip 'n Climb Berwick is a fantastic indoor rock climbing centre which I discovered today with my nephew totally by accident - but I am glad we did.
The centre features a whole heap of tricky yet fun rock climbing walls for children to climb on. My nephew's favourite wall was the inflatable one. It has things to climb up on but the whole wall is inflatable which is very cool.
I was certainly amazed at all the fun things for children to try at this place, they had so much on offer and the kids were loving it. The energy is great and the atmosphere makes it so fun.
There was an attraction that my nephew was a bit nervous to try at first, but then wanted to go on five times over. This was the vertical drop slide which entails holding onto a bar on a very steep vertical slide then letting go and sliding down. The employees here are so encouraging and my nephew felt confident enough to let go of the bar after lots of reassurance and cheering on.
Also within the centre are a few other fun things to do including an obstacle course - cheeky monkey climb - which is suited to kids aged two to nine years, and game walls that show projections of the walls and your body is the controlller. We did not try these extras out, however we got a sneak peek and were so amazed by it that we want to come back again and give it a go.
The pricing at this venue I found to be very fair considering the number of things to do. A standard hour of climbing is $19.50 with extras such as the vertical slide and leap of faith attraction costing an extra $5 each.
I would recommend this venue to families with adrenaline-loving children and kids who love running around, climbing, and bursting with energy.
