Fun at the fair! We all love the traditional annual school fair. It invokes memories of our own school days and is a great opportunity for a fun day out, especially for children.

Clifton Hill Primary School is having its annual school fair on Saturday 23 November 2013. There are heaps of activities and attractions for all, a chance to pick up some Christmas presents at the Silent Auction, and enjoy a nice lunch whilst wandering around the various stalls.

The Fair Committee has organised a jam packed day of events, entertainment, food, and rides for the children.

Bidding for the Silent Auction commences at 10am and ends at 2.30pm There are a number of vouchers and hampers to bid on so it's a great opportunity to get some of your Christmas Shopping done.

As lunch time comes around, head to the multiple food stalls on offer. There will be gourmet sausages and pommes frites, a spit, Asian Food, home made pasta and sauces and vegetarian options available.

For dessert, try some Italian gelati, Dutch pancakes with strawberries, scones with cream or a selection of home made cakes. You can grab a coffee or a slushi to quench that thirst.

To entertain the children, the Fair will have a great selection of rides to suit all ages. For toddlers there is a Ball Crawl, there's the Giant Super Slide or Chair-O-Plane for ages 3 and up. For the older children, Adrenaline Rush (an obstacle course) or the Bungee Trampoline will be sure to appeal.

There will be a variety of live entertainment throughout the day with Rev Funk, a Melbourne based band playing Soul and R&B, the Bin Night Romeos a band led by one of the primary school's dads. Current and past students will also entertain you with The Walking Dead a group of current Clifton Hill Primary School Grade 6 students and Suit Yourself, a jazz/swing band of former students.
