Organisers of the Clifton Hill Primary School Annual Fair boast that people have travelled from interstate especially for their 'spectacular silent auction.' A popular community event, being held this year on Saturday 19th November 2016, the fair certainly seems to have plenty of drawcards to suit every age and every taste.
Think Christmas as you browse the market stalls. Enjoy all the surprises and thrills of a traditional Trash & Treasure stall alongside the craft, second hand toys, clothes, music, books and even plants – perfectly timed for spring.
Then there's the silent auction. Be sure and keep family and friends in mind when checking out the silent auction lots. Who knows what amazing prizes you may win. Please note: The silent auction closes at 2.30pm so you better not dally. Go early and bid well. Good luck!
Kids can enjoy plenty of cuddles with some cute and furry friends in the petting zoo before heading to the face painting artists where they can become whatever animal they like. Then once you're painted, shaken and fed, put John Travolta to shame by whipping out your best dance moves in the classic Silent Disco.
Thrill seekers of every age will enjoy the array of carnival rides and games, and be sure to purchase a ticket or two in the raffle for your chance to take home yet another prize. A fresh coffee cart will provide your caffeine fix, or spend some time at the bar or daiquiri stand while enjoying the toe tapping selection of live music and entertainment.
Located within the Fitzroy and Collingwood 'Food Hubs", The Clifton Hill Primary School Fair is as famous for its food as it is for the silent auction. With organisers promising food options that reflect the choice and quality of the local area, true foodies should be well and truly catered for. The Gourmet Food section will feature The Super Sizzle BBQ, Asian delights, woodfired pizza, 'Cavallini' serving traditional handmade gelato and classic Devonshire tea served with fresh strawberries and cream. While you're there, don't miss the homemade cake and 'epic' lolly stall. Pick up something sweet to take home and save for later.
