Support your local pizza shop
You've spent the day at the beach, sand between your toes, sunscreen sticking your hair to your face. You've had a great day shopping with your best friend or Mum and you're feet are killing you. You've spent the day home with your children on holidays; you've finger painted, read some books, done some crafts and now everyone is exhausted.
Whatever your reason for not wanting to cook, whether you fit into one of the categories or you just can't be bothered cooking (no shame in that!), it's always good to know there's a local take away place you can rely on to have great tasting food, fast service, and friendly staff.
Cliff Avenue Restaurant and Pizza Bar offers all of this and more. Whether you want to spend the night in front of the television or you feel the need to get out of the house but don't want to drive too far, eat in or take away at Cliff Avenue Restaurant and Pizza Bar is the perfect option.
My husband and I recently discovered this little gem and have been pleasantly surprised each time we have visited.
As the busy time of year is upon us, we haven't gone for an eat in meal yet, but will definitely do so in the new year. We have however enjoyed take away pizza on more than one occasion. I can't speak for the rest of their food, but if the pizzas are anything to go by, I'm more than willing to sample a few different meals.
Don't feel like pizza? There are many other options on the menu (all available as eat in or take away) including a range of pastas, garlic prawns, chicken parmigiana and salt and pepper squid.
The bases of the pizzas are fresh without being doughy and the vegetables are crisp and fresh. Whilst cheesy, the pizzas aren't dripping in grease and are well cooked.
Next time you're looking for a new restaurant to try, keep the locals in mind and try Cliff Avenue Restaurant and Pizza Bar; why go further when great food is on your doorstep?
