Currently, on display at ACMI until 22 April, 2019 is the Cleverman: The Exhibition.

Go behind the scenes of the groundbreaking sci-fi series at this exhibition as you view props, costumes and make-up from the series, designs by Weta Workshop and artwork from the original comic book series.

Cleverman revolved around two estranged Gumbaynggirr brothers who are forced together to fight for their own survival when one of them is passed the mantle of the Cleverman. It reimagines several stories of the Aboriginal Dreamtime in a modern, superheroic context, and reflects on racism, asylum seekers and border protection.

The six-part drama series was broadcast on ABC1 and featured Hunter Page-Lochard, Rob Collins, Deborah Mailman, Iain Glen, Frances O'Connor, Ryan Corr, Tasma Walton, Tony Briggs and Rarriwuy Hick.

Discover how an award-winning television series can be bought to life at the Cleverman exhibition on display at ACMI until 22 April 2019.
