Enjoy this foot-stomping dirty blues from the Sunny Coast
Cleveland Blues played at the first Blues Rock Riot at X & Y Bar recently. It was the first time I'd seen them live and I was blown away by what I experienced.

Cleveland's cigar box guitar (or CBG) on the left

This two piece dirty blues band hail from the sunny coast, and consists of Cleveland on guitar and vocals and Andrea on drums, and they got me dancing from the first lick of the home-made cigar box guitar (pictured above). Utilising a number of guitar, and techniques with vocals, including using a megaphone, they delivered heavy, dirty stomping blues. Some memorable tracks included Hillbilly Love, Bam Bam Boom, and Dancing with the Devil on a Saturday Night. I was hot, and glowing (femalespeak for sweating), but stoked when they played 52 Pick Up as an encore.

I love them too! I've seen them several times at Anglesea Music Fest and at a few Melbourne venues. They're really nice folks to boot!
